lower manhattan

on a cloudy day in the fall of '04 i snapped a few pics in one of my favorite areas of the city. the warren of streets laid out by the dutch and english south of chambers house an incredible variety architecture and streetscapes - monumental and intimate at the same time. admittedly, my obsession with boxy modernist skyscrapers limited the variety of shots - but hey, that was almost 2 years ago - i've progressed thankfully :)
